Beginning To Film (post 1)
Astrid and I started to find places that we wants to film each scene of our story board. My teacher, Mrs. Henderson, suggested that we try to be as original as possible. We thought it would be a unique idea to incorporate the green screen into our movie opening to better portray the setting. We are very excited to do this and picked out several green screen backgrounds which help establish setting and time. Here is a green screen background of the office that we liked:
Here are pictures of us practicing our scenes with the green screen:
We thought it would be best to have a mix of green screen and normal filming in our movie opening because it would incorporate different types of shots. During the interrogation scene, we are interested in using an area in the corner of our classroom because the walls look plain and we could take close up shots. Plus, we would like to get creative with the crime scene and make it ourselves rather than projecting it onto the green screen.
Here is the picture of the area which we will film the interrogation scene:
Overall, we feel much more prepared to begin filming and we hope that it turns out as unique as we are planning it to be. We think incorporating the green screen will add the extra originality which will make our film opening much more sophisticated. Our biggest issue this week was trying to figure out which green screen backgrounds would work best and how we could make our setting look real.
